My work with S3: I learned about Students Standing Strong when I met Terry Ann Kelly in 2023. I began volunteering for the ministry in early 2024 helping with administrative tasks and projects. I have always had a heart for the young and all that they face in this world. It is my desire for there to be a revival in our youth and to raise up strong leaders in the Lord. I am excited to see all that God has planned for Students Standing Strong.
Background and Family: I grew up in Round Rock and Bastrop Texas. Soon after graduation, I married my high school sweetheart. The first six years I spent time working at the Department of Public Safety, an insurance agency and Arthur Anderson. When pregnant with my first daughter, I prayed for a job that would allow me to be a stay-at-home mom. God graciously answered my prayers and dropped the perfect job into my life. Three years later I had my second daughter. I later spent 5 years homeschooling my girls.
After my daughters were grown, it was time to fulfill a lifelong dream of business ownership and opened Serendipity Home Décor and Gifts in Waco, Texas. After five years of enjoying this dream, it was time to
change course and follow the Lord's lead into prison ministry. After seven years of working with women coming out of incarceration, I felt the Lord was directing me to something different and that is when I met Terry Ann.
