My Work with S3: In 2004, my husband Jay and I made the decision to move our five children from private Christian school into public schools. I clearly remember God calling me to take Biblical teaching and the "love of Jesus” into their new public schools. Little did I know that taking that leap of faith into public school would lead to the birth of a national student ministry called Students Standing Strong!
Now S3 student-led clubs are in both public and private intermediate schools, junior highs, and high schools across the country.
Education: Undergraduate and graduate degrees from Baylor University, followed by teaching at Baylor, Belmont, and Dallas Baptist universities.
Outside of S3: I enjoy writing and speaking about team building, home and family life and moral and social issues affecting the American family - through articles, radio, podcasts and public speaking events. However, I find my greatest fulfillment is in meeting the needs of my husband, five adult children, their spouses and seven grandchildren.

"I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth." 3 John 1:4 NIV
I love this because our five children and our grandchildren are not only biological children but also our 'children' in faith. S3 has helped them walk out that Truth.

My heart’s desire is for this verse to always be reflected in my daily life.
